Good Grades are RequiredAll children under the age of 18 are required to get an entertainment work permit allowing them to work in the entertainment industry. This permit must be signed off by the principal at the child’s school and sent to the Department of Labor. It comes back with a seal and is good for six months. If the child’s grades are dropping or the child is working below their potential, the principal can refuse to sign the permit….they don’t care if Steven Spielberg is crying for them on the telephone.
