Any actor worth their salt in the business today still works with acting coaches. Jennifer Anniston feature film required that she work with an acting coach – and she’s been on FRIENDS for over 9 years. Meryl Streep works with a coach – and she is one of the top female actors of all time. Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, Meg Ryan, Tom Hanks still work with coaches. It’s not as easy as they make it seem and the sign of any good actor is you don’t realize they are acting at all!

As parents we want to make sure that our children are well adjusted, have poise, grace and self-confidence. Many parents and teachers will attest that students that study acting have shown a marked improvement in the classroom. The ability for a child to get up in front of the classroom and give and oral book report equates to monologue, scene study, and cold reading.

The gift of self-esteem is priceless and acting skills are carried throughout their lives. Many young attorneys will study acting – which greatly improves their ability at trials. It makes a great deal of acting in addition to knowledge of the law to convince a jury.
