Camps FAQ

  • Yes! Both students with us and non-students can enroll in our camps.

  • Our camps can accomodate between 20 - 30 students per week, and we do one show.

  • We ask every performer to audition, but if they’re shy, that’s okay! We will not force them. Only encourage! The auditions take place on the first Monday of camp.

We ask that the students prepare 16 bars (approximately 30 seconds) of a song from the show or another musical. Our directors take notes and ask which parts they want to audition for.

This does not guarantee they will be cast as those parts; however, our directors will do their best to find a part that fits your child best.

  • Parts are given out on the first day of camp. We want to emphasize that every role in the show is significant and valuable, and we aim to provide a positive and inclusive experience for all our performers.

We encourage all participants to be team players, open to exploring new roles and challenging themselves. While we understand that everyone has a specific part in mind, we encourage all participants to be open to exploring new roles and challenging themselves.

We believe that each performer has the potential to shine in any role they are given.

  • Campers need to have the appropriate dance shoes for rehearsals and for the performance on Friday night.

They will also be asked to wear all black for their performance on Friday (to wear underneath their costumes.)

They also need to be fluent readers to attend our camps.

  • We do not accept charter funds for camp at this time. We only accept charter funds for our regular weekly classes, which are monthly tuition-based classes.

For any questions, please call our studio at (949) 609-1600.
