Camps FAQ
-
Our Summer Camps are designed for aspiring performers ages 6 to 15. Whether your child is brand new to the stage or already loves the spotlight, our program is designed to meet them where they are and help them grow.
-
Each camp week is 33 hours long, running Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This full-day schedule gives campers plenty of time to rehearse, learn choreography, build confidence, and bond with their fellow campers—all while having a blast!
-
Campers will spend their days acting, singing, dancing, and working on scenes and songs from well-loved musicals. Each week ends with a performance showcase for family and friends so campers can shine on stage and perform what they've learned.
-
Not at all! We welcome all experience levels. Our instructors provide supportive guidance to help every camper grow in their theatrical skills and stage presence.
-
Yes! Both students with us and non-students can enroll in our camps.
-
Our camps can accommodate between 20 - 30 students per week, and we do one performance.
-
We ask every performer to audition, but if they’re shy, that’s okay! We will not force them. Only encourage. The auditions take place on the first Monday of camp.
We ask that the students prepare 16 bars (approximately 30 seconds) of a song from the show or another musical. Our directors take notes and ask which parts they want to audition for.
This does not guarantee they will be cast as those parts; however, our directors will do their best to find a part that fits your child best.
-
Parts are given out on the first day of camp. We want to emphasize that every role in the show is significant and valuable, and we aim to provide a positive and inclusive experience for all our performers.
We encourage all participants to be team players, open to exploring new roles and challenging themselves. While we understand that everyone has a specific part in mind, we encourage all participants to be open to exploring new roles and challenging themselves.
We believe that each performer has the potential to shine in any role they are given.
-
Campers need to have the appropriate dance shoes for rehearsals and for the performance on Friday night.
They will also be asked to wear all black for their performance on Friday (to wear underneath their costumes.)
They also need to be fluent readers to attend our camps.
-
We do not accept charter funds for camp at this time. We only accept charter funds for our regular weekly classes, which are monthly tuition-based classes.
For any questions, please call our studio at (949) 609-1600.
-
Campers should bring a packed lunch, a water bottle, comfortable clothes they can move in, and closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops, please). Scripts and other materials will be provided.
-
Yes! Each week features different material, so campers who join us for multiple weeks will get a fresh, fun experience every time—new songs, new scenes, and new chances to shine!
